In Streaming Mode, Jinzora is used for on-demand streaming of rich multimedia content.

On-demand streaming offers Jinzora end-users a chance to request a media stream from the server.

The stream can be sent over a LAN or the internet. Everything the user needs is a web browser. The required media player can be embedded in the Jinzora interface or installed locally on the client that’s used to visit Jinzora.

Once the user selected the tracks to play, Jinzora creates a playlist and sends it to the media player. The player loads the individual URL’s and requests each file from Jinzora. Once the request passes authentication, Jinzora streams the file to the player.

There are dozens of players available that are compatible with Jinzora in Streaming Mode, including, but definitely not limited to the ones below.
